Got the pic below from our Iberian correspondent – those of you who recognise it will feel the hairs on your neck stand upon remembering the chilling transformation!

Once again, many thanks to all who contributed to Ticksgiving at the Donkey.

This year, arís, Ticksgiving donated more than 100 gifts for Cobh kids and raised over €1300 for charity.

In addition, a local business man approached the board of management and offered €300 to buy clothes for Cork’s homeless, if Ticksgiving did same. Our usual charity recipient agreed to this, so €600 went to buy warm clothing for those who need it most this Christmas.

TICKSGIVING is back again this coming Friday, Dec 11th, at the Donk.

As usual, entry fee is a wrapped Christmas present marked clearly as suitable for a boy or a girl which will be distributed by SVP to local, deserving families.

A few tunes on the night from ‘You can Yuke’ and the globally renowned ‘The Hitmen’.  Needless to say, we can also expect a rousing rendition of Sweet Home Alabama from the Prof.

Add to this a spectacular Christmas Light arrangement, putting previous efforts to shame, the night is sure to be another one that we won’t be able to remember the day after!
