With all three previous winners present at the meeting, along with five newcomers, an interesting evenings racing was always on the cards.  Straight from the off, two of the newcomers, Ted & Leon, began to set a good pace and a furious dice was to be had between them for the first half of the race.  Yours truly and Jennifer were involved in a spectacular incident on the first corner of the first lap that almost resulted in the emergency services being summoned - however, I was able to battle on through the pain while an unflustered Jenn continued, eventually, on her merry way!  Don't know which was worse, the pain or the abuse I suffered afterwards!!!

Anyways, numerous battles prevailed away from the head of the field - Ivan was setting some impressive times but kept losing time with some off road excursions - Terence was doing likewise during his battle with Dan!  Alan & Barbara were neck and neck - Barbara probably lost a bit of time while she sneered at Tommy's attempts to overtake her!

Frank's second place in 2008 was not to be repeated as he had his hands full in stemming off the challenge from the demonic driving of Jen!  Michael Bernard seemed down on power while Tony & Malcolm will complain that their Karts were no good!

Fastest lap went to Terence with a 44.777, just a wee bit slower than Ivan's time of 44.528 last year.  The reception afterwards proved a light-hearted affair while the highly polished trophy was presented to all conquering 2009 victor.
